Balbriggan & District Historical Society Day Trip Sat 24th June.

It is day trip time again and this year we have a great trip planned to the Battle of the

Boyne site, Oldbridge House and a tour of Drogheda on Saturday 24th June.

As usual we will meet at the Car Park opposite St. Peter & Paul's Church Balbriggan at 10am sharp. We will be joined on the bus by our guide for the day Colin Byrne who will give us a brief talk on Dowth before heading to Oldbridge House, The Battle of the Boyne Site. http://www.battleoftheboyne.ie/Oldbridge/ There we will have a tour of the house and soup, sandwiches and tea (all included) and you will have time to stroll around yourself.

We will then head to Drogheda where Colin will lead us on a tour of the Historic town.

We will finish the day with as usual with a 2 or 3 course meal together in the evening. All of this including the bus, meals etc is at the usual excellent price of €50.
