Balbriggan Family do a 4/4/48 to raise funds for Jack & Jill Foundation
Emma Hanrahan is going to do 4/4/48 next weekend to raise much-needed funds for Jack and Jill Children's Foundation as you can imagine their fundraising has been devastated by Covid-19. Emma who is also a volunteer and founder of Balbriggan SIV a volunteer organisation helping the communities of Balbriggan Balrothery & Balscadden during the time of Covid 19 with errands, shopping and getting essential items to people in isolation, cocooning, frontline staff and healthcare workers. Balbriggan News applauded Emma and her activities and wishes her the best of luck with these fundraising efforts.
Emma has this message for the people of Balbriggan and surrounding areas;
"If you can (& you fancy a challenge!) please join us (not literally) to run (or walk) 4 miles every 4 hours for 48 hours. Take photos when you can, share them, tag Jack and Jill Children's Foundation and donate/ask for sponsorship for Jack and Jill Children's Foundation. If I've tagged you its cos I think you might be crazy enough to join us! Please share far and wide and help us raise as much money as possible! "
