Balbriggan Volunteers Wanted
A Chairde,
Balbriggan Volunteers wanted to join with other Fingal Volunteers & march in upcoming parades on St. Patricks Day, Easter Sunday & in a battle re-enactment on 24th April & possibly 3 -4 other events later on in 2016.

In order to commemorate the men & women volunteers of 1916, you will need to wear clothes similar to clothes worn back then (see photos), black slacks & jackets, white shirt, tie (optional) black shoes. The caps, sam brown belts & replica rifles are all supplied.
Trying to get a group of 10-12 together from Balbriggan/Balrothery area to do 5 weeks of drill-parade practice (1 hour per week) before marching in public but it is easy enough to pick up, once you know your left from your right :)
If you are interested or know of a friend or family member who might be interested in doing something small in 2016 to commemorate & honour those who did something big in 1916, then get in touch by texting or calling Kevin Tolan on 086 8453573.
Is mise le meas,
Kevin Tolan
