Boland welcomes traffic measures at Naul
Following my representations, I am advised by Fingal County Council that additional signage and road relining will be completed in the coming week. This work is badly required due to the high number of accidents which occur at this junction.

I am particularly pleased that the installation of additional traffic calming measures at this junction will be considered for inclusion in the 2019 Works Programme.
I am further told that the Council is also undertaking a review of the existing Speed Limit Bye-Laws which involves the assessment of the existing speed limit on all roads throughout Fingal including the R108 , the L1070 & the L1080 and will prepare draft bye-laws for statutory public consultation which will recommend the retention or amendment of the current speed limits .
I was delighted to see the prompt response of the Council in repairing the bridge here in the village. When I was alerted to the condition of the structure, I contacted the Operations Department, and within days the problem was addressed.
I am delighted to have this work completed without delay. It’s great when all work together for the common good. There are many issues which need to be addressed here in the village, and I am committed to resolving them over the coming months.
We need to improve the general road safety for all, and that is one issue which requires ongoing attention. Work to improve and upgrade the Community Hall is long overdue and I am pleased that the Fingal County Council have now undertaken an in-depth assessment of the building condition and are examining how best to address the issues identified.
