Could you help your local club ?

Balbriggan Cricket Club are looking for volunteers ahead of the new cricket season which starts next month.

The club like so many other clubs relies entirely on a small group of people who generously give their time to help. We already have committed individuals who do an absolute power of work but we always like to be on the front foot and we are very keen to grow our volunteer numbers.

We have a variety of opportunities available and these are the areas we need help with:

- Ground maintenance, pitch preparation , general tidying.

- Tea duties - preparing and serving teas on weekend match days.

- Coaching - assisting our coaches on junior nights and at junior matches,improve your kids and others

- Junior team management , only basic knowledge of cricket required and club coaches will be present.

- Assisting in fundraising or attracting corporate sponsorship

- Helping out at events
