This afternoon Cllr Tom O'Leary Posted on Social Media "Christmas Lights Skerrries. Happy to announce that Fingal Co Council will be rolling into Skerries tonight monday to install Lights on the Trees on Strand St and do a makeover on the monument and some other Christmas lights decorations in that general area. I want to acknowledge the super work of Skerries Chamber of Commerce and the whole team there whom I met recently. The request was put to me there at that meeting asking could Fingal Co Council come in and address the deficit of Christmas lighting this year. Happy Finfal have agreed and will step up to the plate. We will all work together on a co ordinated plan for next year 2022. And I look forward to working with Skerries Tourism in 2022"
