Fingal Festival of Fire 2016 Monday 31st October – Swords Castle and Town Park

Fingal County Council are happy to announce the return of Fingal Festival of Fire, a free event, which is taking place on Monday 31st October from 5 – 8pm in Swords Castle and Town Park.
Our Super Scary Tunnel through haunted Swords Castle opens at 5pm, where you will collide and interact with the scariest of characters in all the land. Younger children are invited to enjoy our Scary Maze in Swords Town Park where there will be plenty of frights in store.
All will be treated to music and entertainment from our 80’s band ‘The Ghouls’ on the Main Stage in the Town Park from 5.30 – 7.30pm. Watch out for wicked witches and grisly gremlins lurking around each and every bend and join in by wearing your own spooky Halloween costume.
Why not come down early and enjoy one of the 40+ eateries that Swords, a Purple Flag Town, has to offer.

For the grand finale we have a magnificent Fireworks Display planned at 7.30pm, as no Halloween event would be the same without them. We look forward to seeing you all at this free family event.
Paul Reid, Chief Executive Fingal County Council said “I am delighted to see the Fingal Festival of Fire return for a second year. Halloween is a fantastic time of year for families to spend together and we hope that they will do that in the scary and spooky setting we will be creating in Swords Castle and Town Park.”
The Mayor of Fingal, Councillor Darragh Butler said “Fingal Festival of Fire is the perfect event for Swords. With the castle as a backdrop for the different elements of the event, the spectacular fireworks and the family-friendly nature we look forward to welcoming a big crowd to Swords for the Halloween festivities. It was one of the most popular and talked about events last year so please come along and don't miss this year's dazzling display”.
