Former Balbriggan Town Councillor Frank Snowe to Sky Dive for the Parkinson’s Association.

Former Balbriggan Town Councillor, Frank Snowe and Cathaoirleach of Balbriggan Town Council 2010 is to Sky Dive to raise money for The Parkinson’s Association of Ireland. The jump will take place in Jurien Bay, Perth next month and Frank himself will cover all costs involved in the jump. All money raised from sponsorship will go to The Parkinson’s Association of Ireland.

Frank always put Balbriggan town first and was involved in many projects, objections and Balbriggan causes. Frank has set up a page to allow donations to be made and we are calling on everyone to pitch in and support his cause.

In his own words Frank calls for your support:

I was diagnosed with Parkinsons 18 months ago. My knowledge of PD was you get a tremor and that was all I knew.

I wasn't aware of the depression, loss of muscle strength, falling, frozen face, stiffening of your joints. Inability to carry out simple tasks, loss of tone of voice, difficulty to speak and swallow. Night Terrors, higher risk of dementia. Loss of interest in things you once enjoyed. No longer able to multi task and the need to think about the simplest task that you once did automatically without thought?

No two people have the same symptoms and there is no cure for Parkinsons Disease you just get progressively worse, it won't kill you itself but usually deaths can be a result of a fall, choking etc.

I'm not raising this money to cure Parkinsons but to help the work of Parkinson's Association of Ireland (PAI)

so please help me help them by giving whatever you can using the 'Give Now' button.

The more people that know about Parkinson's Association of Ireland (PAI), the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family.

Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot. All monies go directly to PAI.

The jump will take place in Jurien Bay, Perth next month and I will cover all costs involved in the jump.

Regards

Frank
