Friends of popular Doctor to place memorial in his memory.

Friends of recently deceased Dr Patrick O'Mathuna to raise funds in tribute to his work, he was a tireless local doctor who devoted his life to his friends and neighbours. Local Businesses, Friends and neighbours have rallied to fund raise funds to place a memorial in his memory. In a resent post on Castlemill Shopping Complex facebook page notice has been placed of location of collection points, with the following message:

“In Memory Of Dr Patrick O'Mathuna. Following the recent passing of our good friend, colleague, father and doctor (to the community) and the amazing support shown by the many many people whom travelled/attended Patricks Funeral from Castlemill, Balbriggan, Balscadden, Balrothery, Gormanstown, Stamullen, Naul & Surrounding areas Thank You. We have set up some collection boxes within Castlemill in D'lish Cafe, Castle News Shop, McCartans Pharmacy & The Medical Centre where you can make any Donations Possible, we wish to place a memorial bench and plaque in Dr Patrick's Honour. Thanks to Richardson Promotional products for the collection boxes.”
