The photograph was taken in the garden at the rear of Gallens house on Georges Hill in Balbriggan.

A number of different districts were represented by those present –

Gallens, Cumisky & Walsh were from Balbriggan

Leonard was from Stamullen

Delaney was from Bettystown

Tallon was from Bellewstown

Keane was from Skerries

Aherne, Corry & Tierney were “army men” – Aherne being CO of Gormanston Camp
