Mayor of Fingal, Councillor Darragh Butler walks the Skerries Darkness into Light

Having completed Malahide in previous years, I decided this year to walk the Skerries Darkness into Light for a change. It was a great route with a fantastic finish along the coastline as the sun came up. It really is an incredible event and an incredible experience. Thousands and thousands of people of all ages out at 4am in the morning, an incredible atmosphere and clearly something that means to much to so many people. It was great to have such massive crowds turn up at both Malahide and Skerries and to have the Pieta House CEO, Brian Higgins at the Skerries event.
