Minister O'Brien in Balbriggan today to meet Local Councillor & Chamber of Commerce.

Commenting following a visit to Balbriggan Harbour this morning Minister O’Brien told Balbriggan News “This town has so much to offer, there is so much history; the castle, a beautiful beach and a working harbour. As a TD for the area I want to see this place prosper and thrive and we all have a role to play in that."

Minister O’Brien met with Councillor Tony Murphy and Luke Moriarty of Balbriggan Chamber of Commerce and discussed a range of issues. All three are working very hard and focused on making Balbriggan a go-to tourist destination and a prime location for new and expanding business to locate. Minister O’Brien stated his commitment to the town and all its people saying “Fingal County Council and my Department will work together with stakeholders and the communities in Balbriggan to ensure that the town is rejuvenated and regenerated in a way that benefits the town and attracts tourists.
