Joe tells us that “It was owned years ago by Mrs Connolly and I would guess her Maiden Name was Rath, my reasoning coming from the fact that all the older folk called it ‘Dolly Rath’s’. It was a favourite stopping place for truck drivers on the Dublin / Belfast road.
