New Book launches with first donation of €2000

Thank you to family, friends and the people from Balbriggan and beyond joined us for the launch.

We had 11 of our contributors join us on the night; a special thanks to all our volunteer team and Caroline McFadden who was our photographer for the evening.

Book sales on the night brought in €1640 and along with pre sales we were in a position to immediately transfer €2000 to Pieta House from book sales after just two days from official launch.

We are delighted as we are now almost 30% of the way towards our 10k target already. We also appreciate the support of local businesses in Balrothery-Balbriggan area who are selling the book on our behalf. Copies are available from The Bracken Court Hotel, Jaffa Cafe and Andrew'' Eurospar stores in Balrothery and Drogheda Street.

The book will also be available online from Saturday 27th in paperback €10 and eBook €2.99 from www.abowlofirishstew.ie.
