Work Matters is a new business, enterprise and employment service in Balbriggan Library. The Work Matters centre contains business and employment related books, newspapers and leaflets plus an information and jobs board. Work Matters users can enjoy free library wi-fi or use Work Matters designated pcs and iMac as well as printing, scanning and photocopying services. A pre-bookable meeting room is also available.
A wide range of free digital resources including business databases, online courses, ebooks & magazines and online language learning are available to all library members. Library membership is free and open to everyone.
Access to over 400 online courses is available through Universal Class covering a huge range of subjects from career training, to entrepreneurship, office skills and web development. Vision-net business database is a valuable tool for jobseekers researching for interviews as well as business people researching their industry, competitors and consumers.
