New Threshold Housing Support outreach in Balbriggan Citizens Information Centre The Balbriggan Citizens Information Centre is delighted to announce a new weekly Threshold housing support outreach service every Wednesday morning from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on a walk-in basis in its office on the 1st Floor Balbriggan Library, George’s Square, Balbriggan, Co. Dublin, starting Wednesday 6th September 2017

“As a service we have seen a 20% increase in queries (similar to that reported nationwide) relating to housing in 2016 regarding landlord / tenant disputes” stated Andrew McCann, Development Manager for Fingal Citizens Information Service “We are delighted to work in co-operation with Threshold, the national housing charity, in being able to provide a much needed one-to-one service to the people of Balbriggan and surrounding area. We hope that people can avail of this excellent service in addition to that provided by our team” he stated In 2016, 1 in 6 people nationwide visited a Citizens Information Centre, and over 40% of all queries are of a social welfare nature Citizens Information here in North Fingal via the 4 centres in Swords, Skerries, Balbriggan and Malahide provide a free, impartial, non-judgemental and confidential information, assistance and advocacy support service to all on all their social and civic rights and entitlements
