PATRICK DONNELLY WINNER OF THE NHI RESIDENTS ACHIEVEMENT AWARD 2016

Patrick Donnelly a resident in Hamilton Park Care Facility. Pat, as he likes to be known, has lived in Hamilton Park since May 2015. Pat was also the brainchild behind
the 1916 themed St. Patrick's day float which won Hamilton Park residents first prize in
this year’s parade in Balbriggan. Together with the activity team they came up with a wonderfully detailed float that paid tribute to the men and women of the 1916 rising.
Pat and a number of other residents are also responsible for the upkeep of our “Adopt a Patch” at Balrothery Village for Balrothery Tidy Village organisation, which in good weather is often frequented and tidied with pride.
Pat has overcome many obstacles in his life and has blossomed since residing in Hamilton Park. He has strived to develop his passion for art and has not only contributed to the many projects within the care facility, but has also gifted many friends with portraits of themselves and their loved ones. Pat has gained confidence and has made many friends within the community of Hamilton Park, Balrothery.
