In today’s “always-on” world businesses can struggle to cope and navigate their way through the demands that social media and the internet can pose. The time involved, the expertise required and often the costs can be too prohibitive. Businesses can feel exposed and vulnerable. Any business is potentially vulnerable to risk, whether they are online or not.

Businesses attending this event will learn how to get the most out of using social media for their business while at the same time protecting their businesses online reputation. They will also learn how to keep their business safe, understanding how to use the correct etiquette and behaviour online and enjoy the benefits to their business through being online.

Nicola Byrne is a serial innovator and entrepreneur, is the CEO and founder of 11890, Call90 and RiskEye. Her company, founded in 2006, employs 55 people in Ireland, covering sectors such as directory enquiries, live social media monitoring, data preparation and online protection services.

Nicola is also the President Elect of the Irish Exporters Association and a board member of the Ireland-US Council.
