Sports Hubs and Fingal Sports Office keeps you motivated at home.

Hi folks,
I hope you are all keeping well. Just a quick update from the Sports Hubs and Fingal Sports Office.
We are continuing to plan upcoming programmes and initiatives for the area but naturally a lot of the schools and community events have been put on hold for the time being. We’ve been putting together a series of workout videos called ‘Fingal Digifit’ which can be found here; https://learning.fingal.ie/course/view.php?id=139. The aim of this online programme is to offer guidelines for people stay active while at home.
We have also put together a series of skills challenge videos aimed at kids to develop different physical and sport skills which are posted daily on the Fingal Sports Office social media pages (Facebook / Instagram / Twitter) Monday to Friday.

Also yesterday we opened up The Sporting Facts lessons & quizzes here; https://learning.fingal.ie/course/view.php?id=12. This is all about why sport and physical activity is an important part of community and overall life and is great for kids to work along to as part of their school work.
Lastly we will be posting exercise sessions aimed at older adults on our Facebook page from Age & Opportunity every Tuesday and Thursday morning at 9am or you can follow them live with Age &Opportunity on their Facebook page too.
For any coaches that want to upskill https://www.icoachkids.eu/ is a great resource with some free online courses available. If clubs are recording videos of different challenges or games feel free to tag @fingalsports on social media and we’ll do our best to share what comes in.
Thanks and stay safe,
Ciaran.
