WAR Fitness Balbriggan Monthly Charity Class: the day after the day before!
Well we actually got through it.... Our first Monthly Charity Class complete, in aid of Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association.
It was a busy busy morning, but it was a huge success.
Raising over €400 from the one class and selling of raffle tickets was amazing.
Prizes were won, tea and coffee were drunk, cakes eaten and a massive sigh of relief from me. But the day wouldn't have been a success without the help of all my Warriors from class, Cathy working hard getting spot prizes, local businesses supporting us on the day and donating spot prizes. I have recruited some new Warriors also which is brilliant as the hunger from people to try something new and be healthy is still well and truly alive, we also have our first male Warrior!
Thank you to Balbriggan.net for giving me the opportunity to highlight what I am trying to achieve, a sense of community. Our next Monthly Charity class will take place Saturday 8th July Flemington Community Centre @10:30am, this class will be in aid of OCF - Oesophageal Cancer Research Fund.
